Students design Ströer media in Greifswald

Since mid-February, a ten-day art project by students of the Caspar David Friedrich Institute, entitled "Public Art - Art. City. Advertising," can be seen. As part of their fine arts studies, the students have designed motifs for advertising pillars, billboards and spots for digital media and are presenting them in public spaces. The temporary art intervention offers the students the opportunity to present their designs in public space and to contribute to the culture of the city. The motifs deal with current topics, e.g. climate and species protection or sustainability, which are intended to change the city, address actors in public space and call for cultural participation in the digital age. The choice of topics is up to the students. The poster art moves playfully on the threshold between advertising, design and public message.
