#wirfürschule and Ströer use DOOH campaign to question the status quo of our Education System

The non-profit organization #wirfürschule is shaping the vision of the school of tomorrow and thus initiating the transformation of education.

A Future Council of about 100 representatives of our society (students, teachers, principals, parents, representatives from the business community and the school's social environment), together with experts from the education sector and a strategy council, develop the basis for the vision of the school of tomorrow - a national curriculum. In the #wirfürschule Hackathon from June 14-18, 2021, several thousand participants will collect Good Practices from schools, provide feedback on the vision and develop concrete implementation measures. Everyone is invited to help shape education. Registrations are open until 8 p.m. on 10.06. via wirfuerschule.de. This year's hackathon is once again under the patronage of the Ministry of Education and Research, the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs and the Minister of State for Digitization Dorothee Bär. Following the hackathon, the Conference of Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs will examine the results for feasibility.

In addition to Accenture, the Bayerische, Capgemini, Deutsche Bahn, the Dieter Schwarz Foundation, the Procter & Gamble Company, SAP, Slack, the Vodafone Foundation and Wacom, #wirfürschule was able to win Ströer as a partner. THE GOODWINS is responsible for the creative implementation of the campaign. "Is there actually still room for big ideas in the curriculum?", "When can classrooms really fly?" or even "Berlin's new start-up: school." are just some of the activating campaign ideas that THE GOODWINS developed together with #wirfürschule. The #wirfürschule campaign already started on social media on April 15. Through the media partnership with Ströer, the campaign can now also be seen nationwide via DOOH starting at the end of May. The focus of the media placements is on the DOOH networks in the German cities of Berlin, Hamburg, Munich and Frankfurt. Here, programmatic advertising will be used on over 2,000 screens in different formats such as Cityscreen, Roadside Screen, Edgar Art Screen, Infoscreen, Mall Video or Station Video to specifically address and attract participants from different areas for the hackathon.

"Our motto this year combines various aspects. Particularly important to us is the team idea, the "we" feeling. We want to invite everyone to join us in looking boldly and positively forward and shaping the future," explains Verena Pausder, co-initiator of #wirfürschule, author and entrepreneur.

"The last few months have shown us all the current challenges in the school education system. #wirfürchule creates an important network to jointly shape the school of tomorrow with great innovative power. We are also aware of our responsibility and support the initiative by broadcasting the campaign on our nationwide public video network. We reach many people in public spaces within a very short time with our out-of-home media. Through the campaign spots on our screens, we activate people to participate in the hackathon and thus promote social engagement," says Alexander Stotz, CEO of Ströer Media Deutschland GmbH, explaining the partnership.
