Strengthening democracy through digital presence: Ströer's contribution to the state elections in Bavaria

Ströer used its digital media to encourage voter turnout in Bavaria and thus make a contribution to strengthening democracy. From 21 September to 8 October, 978 digital screens in 29 cities in Bavaria displayed calls to vote in the state election. This nationwide campaign aimed to motivate the citizens of Bavaria to actively exercise their right to vote and thus help shape their future.

In addition to the election appeals, quiz content was also played out, which was based on the official quiz of the state parliament. This interactive component was a fun way to educate citizens about the importance of their vote and the impact of their decision. These measures helped to raise awareness of the importance of voting and increase participation.

The wide reach of the digital communication infrastructure enables Ströer to support important democratic processes and enable citizens to make informed decisions. In this way, the city information systems can contribute to a political discourse.
