In recent years, a new era of virtual experience has emerged that blurs the boundaries between the real world and the digital sphere. Avatar Worlds are platform-based, virtual 3D worlds - whether accessible via virtual reality application or browser - that (want to) provide their users with an immersive and extended Internet experience including all associated areas of use. In contrast to the virtual worlds that have been established for years, such as Second Life or Minecraft, Avatar Worlds go one step further: they not only offer their users a virtual gaming environment, but are also designed as fully-fledged social networks and ecosystems.

Every year on 20 November, the International Day for the Rights of the Child takes place. Numerous schools will focus on children's rights in the classroom and Ströer's information screens will call for "Show your colours for children's rights".

Ströer has been nominated for the German Corporate Sustainability Award, which is being awarded this year together on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DIHK) and the World Wide Fund For Nature (WWF) to particularly exemplary companies in their sectors.
The German Sustainability Award (DNP) is the biggest award in Germany for companies that act sustainably. In August 2023, a jury of experts nominated Ströer in the "Advertising & PR" sector. From the nominees in this category, the jury has now determined the top 3: Ströer is in the final of the DNP.
Climate and environmental protection have been a central pillar of corporate action for many years. Outdoor advertising - especially DOOH - is one of the media with the lowest CO₂ emissions in the media mix in relation to the contacts reached. Ströer also uses green electricity in all DOOH media in Germany with the greatest possible efficiency. All campaigns for advertising customers are played out in a climate-neutral manner. The company's goal is to be completely climate neutral by 2025. Ströer's priority is always to avoid and reduce CO₂ emissions as part of its Group-wide sustainability strategy. CO₂ emissions that cannot be avoided are fully offset with certified climate protection projects.
