The Shop Apotheke supplements its TV campaign for the e-prescription with a playout via public video (DOOH) and thus achieves additional contacts and an increase in its overall reach to 89 percent
With public video (DOOH), every campaign can be made available at short notice, with a high reach, targeted and dynamic - either as a nationwide reach booster or selectively for targeted communication. Public video campaigns can also be controlled on the basis of geographical TV campaign data and thus effectively close performance gaps in TV campaigns.
For its e-prescription campaign, the Shop Apotheke brand used Ströer's 'TV Boost' offering to close TV reach gaps. The public video campaign was only rolled out in cities where the defined advertising pressure target on TV was not achieved. The public video campaign was able to compensate for the loss of TV reach in the younger target group in particular and led to a significant increase in reach of 15 percentage points.
The combination of public video and TV also achieves the best effect in terms of brand action, as the accompanying market research also proves.

The clear strengths of public video as a “one-to-many” medium are its reach and ability to update and adapt content almost in real time. Public video screens are present nationwide on the streets, in pedestrian zones, in airports, at train stations and in shopping centers and offer 100% coverage in cities with a population of 100,000 or more. Thanks to its placement in public spaces, public video disproportionately reaches mobile target groups such as decision-makers and young people, who are no longer sufficiently reached by TV advertising, for example.
